Pride 2025

The Progressive Jewish Link is once again delighted to celebrate Pride and the wonderful diversity of our growing community! As a minority group, we feel that visibility is important and that our presence at Pride is valuable.

The Belfast Pride Parade is the main event in the LGBTQIA+ calendar, a major city event and the biggest cross community parade in Belfast. It is a protest and a celebration, a call for equality, a stand for solidarity and a celebration of the lives of LGBTQIA+ people in Belfast and beyond.

The Theme for Belfast Pride 2025 is “No Going Back.” This year’s Belfast Pride Festival celebrates how far we’ve come while reaffirming that the path forward is clear—towards love, equality, and justice for everyone.

When: Meet at 11am on Saturday 26th July. Parade leaves at 1.00pm with the parade build-up starting from 11.30 am.

We will congregate prior to the official meet time to organise and distribute wristbands etc. Please let us know if you’re coming so we can estimate numbers. Further details will be communicated through our WhatsApp and Facebook channels in due course.

Please note that, per Belfast Pride policies, no regional flags or national symbols are permitted in the parade. We are in touch with Belfast Pride, PSNI and CST to enable everyone to have a safe and happy Pride. If you have any questions or concerns at all, please reach out to the committee.

You can find out more about Pride week celebrations and events across the city on the Belfast Pride official website here.

If you are interested in joining us for a family day out at Pride, please get in touch to register. Whether you’ve joined us before, or are just finding the Link, we’d love to celebrate with you!

For anyone who cannot attend the parade, we are also hoping to once again have an online pride shabbat service in August, as well as an event in future celebrating LGBTQIA+ Jews and positive theology. Stay tuned for further details.
